What do Kate Winslet, Katy Perry, Keira Knightley, Emma Watson, Kate Moss and Cate Blanchett have in common? Well, aside from being highly talented and gorgeous, one commonality between these red carpet stars is celebrity make-up artist, Lisa Eldridge, who has helped make them look their very best.
With over 20 years of experience, London based Lisa Eldridge is one of the most highly regarded make-up artist on the international beauty and fashion circuits. Not only has she worked for A-list celebrities, but, she has maintained a high editorial profile, working with many of the world’s top fashion photographers including Regan Cameron, Solve Sundsbo, Patrick Demarchelier, Thomas Schenk, Paolo Roversi and Horst Dirkgerdes. Her masterful make-up artistry have appeared on the pages of virtually every fashion magazine including British, Italian, Chinese and Japanese Vogue, Allure, Glamour and Elle.
With all her accolades certifying her makeup artistry talent, Lisa Eldridge is also a Scarguard MD user and keeps a bottle in her beauty kit at all times.
“Another thing that I carry around with me is Scarguard. This is an American product to heal scars and it is intended to be used every day. I carry it around my kit because if someone has a fresh scar around their face and I want to put make-up on it, I like putting a thin layer of this to create a barrier over the scar, then I can put make-up on top of it, rather than putting it straight on to a scar that is very fresh. It creates a really nice barrier and it also helps to heal. It won’t heal it in one application but it is better than putting just greasy foundation over a fresh scar.” explains Eldridge.
